Get Ready For Some Chrome Action!
Wow! things sure go from one extreme to the other within the span of a few days here in Northeast Ohio, and one of the reasons why I love it! Now that the rain is gone for a few days, the recent high waters have allowed more fresh Steel to push up the river and tributaries near you! The chagrin is dropping fast, and is around 1800cfs as I post this at (9:33pm) Wednesday the 11th. I've got the drive and desire to go fishing along with some sweet new gear to check out, but not yet. I've got one more round with my Dr. and another short recovery period, then I should be better than new, and back out there every chance I get before they drop back into the big pond for the Summer!
Give the Chagrin another day or two and she'll be prime to fish! Remember once the flow charts show 600cfs or lower and she's fishable for the hard baits and spawn sacks. 300cfs and she's getting clear, under 200cfs probably gin clear, and spooky fish.
Stay safe and Fish On!
