Steelhead Alley Spey & Switch Rods Coming Soon!

Getting better every day, and so is the weather! What a beautiful day it was all over Northeast Ohio, granted the morning was a little wet, and the rain over night brought the rivers and tribs up but later in the day. When I checked the flow this morning it was around 230cfs, and I just looked a minute ago and the flow was over 400cfs.
My friends and associates over at SAO http://www.steelheadalleyoutfitters.com/ have been on the water just about every day this year with clients, and all of them having a blast! They are the ‘BEST GUIDE SERVICE’ on Steelhead Alley hands down period! The multi-talented staff will get you into silver and do it in style, even when others have had no success, so be sure to check them out.
After a lifetime of fishing experience, and over 12 years of extensive product testing, you get a feel for the way you fish, and the equipment that you use. So it’s no wonder I found some fault in most of the rods I’ve cast and used over the last 12 years, not that there are anything wrong with them, just things I would change, and make my own if I had the way’s and means.
You know, like an extra inch or two in the tip, or a few more wraps of thread around the guides, or a little less weight in the butt without sacrificing power. Those kinds of things. The little things that would make your rod more, well you know, you.
So after long and hard collaborations, years of dreaming and wishing, and believe me lot’s of trial and error through research and development, I have been working to manufacture my own brand and style of Spey and Switch Rods for Steelhead Alley and the Great Lakes. Being an avid Steelhead angler, and having the Chagrin River right here in my backyard kind of gives me an advantage.
These rods are the epitome of what I believe to be, the finest combination of components available at an unbelievable price, and the best part is, you will agree as well, once you pick one up and fish with it!
